The purpose of the Dance Education Foundation, Inc. is to bring arts and
life learning through dance programs to the young community encouraging
interest, experience, creativity and proficiency in dance while
fostering respect, self-confidence, teamwork and social etiquette.
Additional goals of the Dance Education Foundation, Inc. are to
increase access to the arts for inner-city youth, broaden public
understanding and appreciation of Ballroom and Latin dance, teach youth
to express ideas and feelings through dance, and to encourage
professional involvement in youth development. |
